From the promenade in Fudoson Park in Marumori-cho, I descended to the riverside. Large rocks are strewn here and there, but the soil along the riverbank is sandy and smooth. According to a local resident, this sandy soil was washed downstream during the huge typhoon in 2019. The water was slightly muddy, probably due to construction work being done nearby (a little upper site).
Here, I collected a small amount of soil. Is there a scent peculiar to the riverbank? It smells much more like the green of trees.
